There are no pedestals at PeachWorks and we have a strict no jerks policy. We are all excellent at what we do, but no one knows it all and fresh input is always welcome and encouraged. Negative, non-team oriented behavior isn’t productive and in the end, it’s not worth inflicting on anyone.
Innovation in creating restaurant software comes from confidence and collaboration. Solving complex problems in a simple way requires creativity and forward thinking which comes from the confidence to voice your ideas and to make mistakes (and to learn from them). This comes from knowing that you always have the support of your co-workers.
Loving what we do gives us the motivation to excel (not loving what you do is the pits.) We love what we do and that drives each of us to find the best solutions in every scenario.
Success at PeachWorks means taking the time to do things the right way, even if it hurts sometimes. We hold ourselves accountable for our actions and their results. At the end of the day, our integrity is displayed through the commitments we make to our team members, customers and partners.
Simply put, we are better together and the best ideas grow out of collaboration and an understanding that our team mates are always there for us.
All work and no play leads to rotten peaches. We love what we do at PeachWorks and we love what we do when we’re not at PeachWorks, but the best of both combined is what we strive for. We have fun, and we embrace the weird, quirky and silly as well as the dry wit and the serious. Do what you love, enjoy what you do and be who you are, because in the immortal and often paraphrased words of someone famous, “Life is too short to take seriously.”*
*Oscar Wilde said that...he's the famous person.
